The Chronicle of the Horse

Lynnette Wadsworth Digs Deep with Former Trick Horse At GAIG/USDF Region 3 Championships Lindsay Berreth As Lynnette Wadsworth canters down centerline on Dandy Van Aston M, she always keeps in mind a phrase her late coach Sharon Poulin repeated, "Dig Deep." A lot has changed since Wadsworth last competed at the GAIG/USDF Region 3 Championships in 2021, and this year was especially emotional because Poulin, who'd been battling Stage 4 breast cancer for more than a decade, died in November 2022, and "Dandy" was coming back from a nearly two years of rehab for an injury... First Freestyle Showing for Lynnette and Wietze

This past weekend My horse, Wietze G, AKA Wookie, and I traveled down to Apopka, FL to Compete in the Heidelberg Cup Dressage show hosted by the Orlando Dressage Association. We had not competed our US Dressage Finals Championship Grand Prix Freestyle Since Lexington in November. I was very happy with the ride as we had no mistakes. Right on the music!! The ...

We covered everything from footfalls BPM at each gait to music choices and freestyle rules. I am currently working on a young rider freestyle and a first level freestyle. A highlight in February was taking a trip to Wellington ...
